  <dc:title>Reading notes on memory</dc:title>
  <dc:creator>Nouwen, Henri J.M.</dc:creator>
<dc:description>File consists of 10 pages of typed reading notes by Nouwen on the subject of memory. These reading notes appear to have been drawn from a number of sources such as Dahl, Elie Wiesel, Seward Hiltner, Abraham J. Heschel and Martin Francis.
These reading notes appear to be in their original file. The file folder is labelled "Nouwen: Notes and Excerpts. Ref. Memory". The notes also contain a page titled "Confessing faith in God today. Draft report of the July Consultation: Institute for Ecumenical and Cultural Research". It appears that Nouwen would have produced these resource files in the course of his research and later the bulk of material would have been collated and bound into single volumes. The theme of memory was integrated into Nouwen's 1975 and 1977 courses Ministry and Spirituality.</dc:description>
