Homewood Sanatorium Farrar, Clarence B. In 1923, Dr. Farrar left the Department of Soldier’s Civil Re-Establishment to become Medical Director of Homewood Sanatorium, a private asylum in Guelph, Ontario. The records in this series were created in Dr. Farrar’s capacity as head of Homewood and include colleagues’ professional correspondence, patients’ intercepted outgoing correspondence, patient case files and promotional flyers. Series also includes images of nursing staff at Homewood, 1923-25.
