Victoria College (Toronto, Ont.). Conversazione Committee

A 'conversazione' was first held in 1862 by the Literary Association and held annually after that for more than 50 years. It quickly became one of the major social events on the Victoria College campus. The local gentry were invited and served refreshments by members of the Association. The Committee was formed to help organize and hold the event, which was last held in 1914.
