Biographical history

Born in Picton, Ontario, 4 November 1881, Gena Branscombe, composer and conductor, left Canada in 1897 to study and work in the United States. Her piano pieces, songs, and choral and orchestral works were published and performed in both countries . She died in New York 26 July 1977.
