Biographical history

Sir Charles George Douglas Roberts, poet and an animal story writer was born at Douglas, York county, New Brunswick and was educated at the University of New Brunswick. He taught school in Chatham and Fredericton, New Brunswick. He lived and worked in Toronto until his death in 1943.
