Scope and content
The subseries E.9 Clippings and Scrapbooks covers the years 1963 to 2006. The materials form a collection of articles clipped from newspapers and magazines that relate to Scarborough College/UTSC, the University of Toronto, the university community, and various other tangential subjects. At the end of the series are eight scrapbooks, four of which continue to be housed in their original covers; these items were assiduously maintained and present a day-to-day reflection on perceptions of Scarborough College/UTSC. Many of the earliest clippings are concerned with the origins of the school and its physical characteristics, while later articles cover all manner of subjects: internal governance, community involvement, students, staff, and faculty, campus events, and many more. Also included are posters, pamphlets, flyers, and other materials relating to a wide range of campus events.
