History
Maurice Cody (BA UC 1920) was the son of Henry John Cody and Florence Clarke.
He was born on 4 June 1897 and was educated at the University of Toronto Schools. He entered the University of Toronto in 1914, receiving his degree in 1920. He subsequently took up the study of law and was called to the bar at Osgoode Hall, Toronto, in 1924. He served as honorary president of the University College Literary and Athletic Society from 1926-1927.
He died tragically on 14 July 1927, drowning in the Marten River near North Bay, Ontario.
