File consists of a bound volume of miscellaneous typed handouts. The materials are in both English and Dutch and were most likely bound between 1974 and 1976. Many of the materials appear to be original typescripts, indicating that they were the originals from which Nouwen created handouts for his students.
The bound volume contains a table of contents that lists 25 articles. Eight of these typed articles are by Nouwen. They are:
-"Conversation on Hospitality"
-"Education to the Ministry"
-"Male and Female" / "Man en Vrouw" (unpublished typescripts in English and Dutch dated December 1959).
-"Marriage as Ministry"
-Pastoral Care and Counseling: Conversations I & II

-"Selma 1965" (In Dutch)

Copy of "Education to the Ministry" can be found in Published Works series - Articles by Nouwen, box 294, item 1548.
"Marriage as Ministry" was later published in the ND Journal of Education, vol. 5, no. 2 (Summer 1974): 101-106. A copy can be found in Published Works series - Articles by Nouwen, box 294, item 1560a.
Nouwen's typed article "Resentment- Past and Future" may be an early version of his later paper titled "From Resentment to Gratitude" presented in 1973. See Manuscripts series, box 36, file 155.
"The Self-Availability of the Homosexual" was never published. A copy of the typescript can be found in the Manuscripts series, box 34, file 96.
Copies of the transcript "Selma 1965" in Dutch can be found in Manuscripts series, box 33, file 90.

Title based on contents of the file.
This file has been dated [1974 - 1976] as it is more relevant when the volume was bound, rather than when its contents were first created.
