Beckwith's article was published in The Halcyon (newsletter of the Thomas Fisher Rare Book Library) and a revised version, entitled "Mark Burnham and Upper Canada's First Tunebook, Colonial Harmonist," appeared in the University of Toronto Quarterly, vol. 71, no. 2 (2002).
