Series 7 - Director - Board of Directors files

Series consists of minutes of meetings and files of the L'Arche Daybreak (earlier named Friends of L’Arche) Board of Directors. The records document the origins and development of all Daybreak programs, facilities and projects.
The types of records include: copies of core corporate documents; minutes of meetings; internal and external research reports; audited financial statements; regular operating reports of the Director and Community Leaders; proposals for new programs and projects; incoming and outgoing correspondence regarding Board organization, Board membership, and fundraising activities.
Subjects found in the series include: acquisition and development of houses; property development; development of the Dayspring and Dayspring II initiatives; the Woodery, Daybreak Farm, and other work programs; employment of senior management staff; recruitment of Board directors; staff remuneration and benefits; Daybreak and L’Arche anniversaries; financial status; fundraising events; pastoral services and spiritual life; relationships with L’Arche on the regional, national and international levels.
