Biographical history

Madeleine Séguin was the Secretary of the Faith and Sharing Federation from the movement’s inception in 1968 to 1993. She was also Secretary and Treasurer of the North American Committee from 1972-1993.

  1. Copy of a letter from Madeleine Séguin to the Royal Bank, Montreal submitting Jean Vanier as a candidate for a medal or prize of $50,000 to pay for the annual conferences of Faith and Sharing, February 1972. Included is a description of Jean Vanier’s work to date.

  2. Report of a visit to the House of Jonquière near Chicoutimi, written by Gisèle Renaud and Madeleine Séguin, February 1973.
