Biographical history

Edward Wilson Wallace was born in Cobourg, Ontario. He studied at Victoria University and Columbia University before being appointed to China missions in 1906. After serving in various capacities in China missions, he was appointed Chancellor and President of Victoria University in 1929, serving until his death in 1941. While at the University, he was also Professor of Missions at Emmanuel College, 1932–1941.
