Nouwen's talk was entitled "Befriending Death." Nouwen was accompanied to the conference by Kathy Bruner and Jan ter Laak. Includes travel itinerary, registration forms, programs, and reference material. There is a lot of material from the National Catholic AIDS Network, including its 1994 Annual Report. Includes an article written by Nouwen entitled "Moving from Solitude to Community to Ministry" from Leadership Magazine, Spring 1995. Also includes Nouwen's handwritten notes for "Befriending Death."
