History

Prof.dr. Albertus Hendrikus (Harry) Eysink (June 2, 1923), priest of the Archdiocese of Utrecht, died in Velp on August 4, 2008. Eysink was ordained a priest on July 25, 1948. After his ordination, he was commissioned to study church law in Rome. From 1951 he was successively chaplain in the Steeg and Groningen. In 1957 he was appointed professor and later became director of the large-scale seminar Rijsenburg, which from 1967 was merged into the Catholic Theological College in Utrecht (the KTHU). He worked there until 1986 as a professor and rector. He retired on January 1, 1987.
