History
Ann Cooper Gay studied opera at the University of Toronto. She later taught pedagogy classes at the University, as well as conducting the University of Toronto Women's Chorus, and was a stage director with the opera division (1996-1997). From 2000 to 2015, she was the executive artistic director of the Canadian Children's Opera Company (CCOC).
