Scope and content
File consists of four pages of photocopied handouts. Three of these pages are typed Psalms (Psalm 23,25 and 27). The other page is a photocopied excerpt from Nouwen's book "Gracias".
These particular handouts do not appear in the bound volume for Boston College. However, Nouwen frequently had worship services after his classes and it is possible that these handouts would have been distributed at that time.

Note
Introduction to the Spiritual Life was an intensive lecture course offered between July 8 and 19, 1985 at Boston College, following Nouwen's resignation from Harvard. The course was held Monday to Friday, 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm. The material of the course was drawn almost verbatim from the lecture courses offered by Nouwen in 1984 and 1985, with the typed lecture summary notes only being slightly modified. Nouwen's teaching assistants for this course were Jeff and Ann Dixon Coppage, David LeBlanc, Priscilla Pano, Ruby Hugh, Barbara Ernst, and Peter Weiskel.
