Part of Patrick O'Neill fonds
File consists of a photocopy of a 1935 election flyer promoting Patrick O'Neill, a handwritten page and a typed page of genealogical information about Patrick O'Neill and his family, two newspaper articles concerning the bombing of the Crown Hotel in 1982 and the subsequent clearance work on the site, two reprinted newspaper articles (from 1926 and 1938), and a newspaper article about a talk given by Teresa O'Neill about the social history of Newry. File also includes a copy of an extract from a 1941 letter [to ?] received from H.B.M. Consul C.L. Roseberry, Tornio, Finland regarding his sudden departure to Stockholm. It is likely that this item originated from within Teresa V. O'Neill's group of acquaintances, perhaps through her connections at the Crown Hotel and with the British regiment that was stationed in Warrenpoint during WWII. Public Record Office of Northern Ireland description of D.2720, correspondence of Patrick O'Neill, printed papers and miscellany have been added to this file, constituting an account of documents presented by Mrs. T. O'Neill also added to the folder by archivist, paper bound photocopy of unknown origin.
