[Timeline of Scarborough College]

File includes placards that seem to have been used for a timeline display of UTSC history. Also includes a printed version of the Office of Advancement's timeline and a compilation timeline of the history of Scarborough College starting from 1913.

Unshelved Library, The

File contains one copy of the promotional booklet for the Scarborough College library building fundraising campaign. Includes history of the library and funding and some photographs.

Library Statistics

File contains one copy of a book of handwritten statistics library statistics for Scarborough and Erindale from Oct. 1964 to May 1967, and three UTL Annual Statistics forms from 2005-2006, and 2006-2007.

File includes correspondence of Principal A.F.W. Plumptre. Topics include UTSC Information Systems, clippings of publications featuring UTSC, and some correspondence with Erindale College. Decade Book

The book contains detailed information on the establishment of Scarborough college and its early history as described by the first dean of Scarborough College. Also includes a message from David Onley, and a detailed history on student newspapers and student expression on campus.

[Photo album: Graduation Ball and Decennial Celebration]

File includes 28 colour photos depicting students and faculty attending the Graduation Ball and Dicennial Celebration (exact date unknown). Photos feature David Onley, Margaret Birch, and Principal Plumptre. Also included are two black and white photos of architectural models of the campus.

Plumptre, A.F.W - Basic Documents

File includes documents from Scarborough College's first principal, A.F.W. Plumptre, including notes, correspondence (D.C. Williams, Robin Ross), "Excerpts from statement by the principal to Scarborough College Council at its opening meeting of 1965-1966 session," and a copy of the "First Estimate of Space Requirements for two off-campus colleges in the University of Toronto," by the Off-Campus College Committee, 1963. File name taken from original file title.

Black scrapbook that includes articles on planning for and opening of Scarborough College, architecture construction, alumni, local residents, land, courses, campus events.

Extra material included within has been separated into another envelope (1969-1973) and contains: Alumni Association committee meeting minutes, financial statements, three minute books, alumni newsletters, and Presidential Advisory Committee on the Status and Future of Scarborough College minutes from 1970.

Watts Lecture - Annual Photos

File includes articles about UofT riding school, student housing, Scarborough Pub, library construction, student centre, educational television, F.B. Watts Lectures. File also includes a photograph of John George Diefenbaker and a photograph of students convocating. File name taken from original file title.

Photographs

The subseries F.1 Photographs covers the dates 1965 through 1995 and 1999 through 2005. The photographs have been arranged by subject and then chronologically within subject, showing the campus and buildings, events, and individuals. Of note are the many construction and building photographs taken during the earliest phases of construction on the campus, as well as during the building period in the late 1970s and early 1980s. There are many images depicting the library, including a number of slides that show library teaching presentations. Also noteworthy are the depictions of campus events, which show a vast number of staff and students.

Physical Services

File includes: Memos sent to all staff/faculty from Physical Services about repair and maintenance services, power outages, events, etc. Includes one memo sent to all women faculty about an ad-hoc faculty group.

Bulletin 1966-1969

File includes three issues of the Scarborough College Bulletin, which provides information on faculty, courses offered and other program requirements dating 1966-1967, 1967-1968, 1968-1969.
