Correspondence files of the Ontario College of Education and its predecessor, the Faculty of Education, including correspondence with the Ontario Department of Education; budget files.
Consists of correspondence with individuals relating to OCE graduate programmes only (not teaching or BEd certificates). Correspondence concerns applications for admission, appointment of instructors, information to applicants and enrolled students about graduate programmes and correspondence with other Canadian faculty members re graduate programs.
Reports relating to education issues; documents relating to The School (monthly periodical of the Ontario College of Education); student publications and reports; programmes relating to student activities.
Account book of the student organization (1915-1935), minutes of executive and student body meetings, as well as committee reports (1947-1950).
Consists of correspondence of the Deans with the Deputy Minister of Education, University President and Bursar/Chief Accountant (1940-1964), records of the office of the Registrar relating to awards and scholarships, summer school sessions, examination questions (1909-1967), admissions, and medical (physical) examinations (ca. 1946-1965), and subject files of the Office of Director of Practice Teaching (1961-1965). Also includes two architectural drawings.

Records also consist of maps, plans, reports, and policies.
Teacher Education permanent record cards (1908-1959); Business Studies permanent record cards (1930-1980); Continuing Education Program student records (1933-1980); Continuing Education Ministry of Education teaching qualification transcripts (1930-1969); Industrial Arts ledgers (1925-1958); Home Economics ledgers (1956-1972); and High School Assistants Certificate ledgers (1950-1959).
Predominantly consists of records from the Faculty of Education (FEUT) and OISE created prior to the merger in 1996. FEUT records include the records of various FEUT committees such as the Executive Committee (1986-1992), Advisory Board (1968-1995), Faculty Council (1973-1999), Program Development Subcommittee (1974-1995), and the FEUT/OISE Joint Council on Education (1982-1989). Also included are records pertaining to the Institute of Child Study (1979-2000) and to various FEUT centres. OISE records predominantly consist of those of the OISE Board of Governors and Executive Committee (1991-1996). There are also FEUT/OISE merger records for various committees and task forces. Also included are records pertaining to University of Toronto Schools as well as 7 videos.

The files also contain application and enrolment forms, student transcripts from schooling at OISE as well as prior degrees, and many files contain photographs of the student.
