Radio scripts, indexes, and notes

Series consists of radio scripts and notes for programs written by Leslie R. Bell in his role as a radio commentator for CBC and CFRB in Toronto. The series also contains indices that accompany many of these scripts for Bell's programs, including Audio, Speaking of music, Music about town, and Music won't hurt you. The series also contains notes from Bell's research for radio programs, lectures, and from his school days, including his notes for his thesis on art education.

Postmortem documents

Series consists of documents created after Leslie Bell's death, including letters of condolence written to his wife Leona Bell; copies of his obituaries; and, documents pertaining to the Leslie Bell Scholarship, which was established in his name by the Leslie Bell Singers Alumnae in 1971. The award was created to support choral conductors further their professional careers and enhance their conducting abilities. The award is managed by the Ontario Arts Council (OAC).
