Asia

The subseries includes menus from China, (Beijing, Hangzhou, and Shanghai), Hong Kong (Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China), Egypt, Guam (United States), India, Indonesia, Israel, Japan, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan (Republic of China), Tibet (Autonomous Region of the People's Republic of China), Thailand, Turkey and Vietnam. Menus feature Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Indonesia, Italian, European, Russian, American, vegetarian and seafood cuisine.

The subseries comprises countries from the following areas: Eastern Asia, South-East Asia and Western Asia and Middle East.

Hong Kong and Tibet have been treated as separate geographical areas for retrieval purposes.

Although part of Russia is found on the Asian continent, all menus from Russia are found in the Europe subseries.

The series is divided into 6 subseries: Africa, Asia, Europe, North America, Oceania and South America. The division is based on the 7-continent model, substituting Australia as a continent and replacing it with Oceania for greater geographical coverage.

Menus from Panama

File contains a trifold menu from Fort Amador Officers Club. Fort Amador is a former United States America Army base located at the end of the Panama Canal and Panama Bay.

Menu from Cuba

File contains an older booklet style menu from Havana specializing in Chop Suey and Chow Mein. File also consists of photographs, taken in 1998, of Chinese restaurant signs and of Harley with his friends.

Menus from Canada – Yukon

File contains menus from Dawson City and Whitehorse. Cuisines featured include Japanese, Chinese and Western food. The menus are in placemat and trifold format.

Menus from the Philippines

File contains two booklet menus from the Philippines. Menus are from Manilla. Menus feature Chinese cuisine and include a menu for an ice cream parlour.

File contains booklet styles menus from various Airlines including United Airlines, Continental Airlines and Dragonair.

File contains single sheet and booklet style menus. Menus feature Chinese, French, American and Italian cuisine. File also includes banquet and drink menus. One menu was put together for Harley’s farewell party in 1994 and another is a US Open lunchbox menu from the Sheraton Laguardia.

File contains four booklet style menus from Victoria Cruises. File also includes a fan menu from the m.s. Tijluwah.
