It�s true that when we have that deep experience that we are loved as we are today with our fragilities, fears, angers and depression, we realize that our God loves us so much he wants to make his home in us.

It was called this because the feast of the Transfiguration was also a moment of great pain, the anniversary of the first atomic bomb. John said to us: �Either we will walk on the poor and end up with an atomic explosion or we will walk with the poor and end up with the Transfiguration.�

Jesus slips in �with persecutions�. But that is what was are called to live. To lose, but to gain. To celebrate the gain, find we are persecuted and then receive eternal life.

Love is not enough; we need skills too (and vice versa). Today we will reflect on ourselves and I ask you to be here with your whole self, with your gift and beauty and with the lie which is there too. All to better understand ourselves and then to make choices which will make our lives more coherent.

Content notes (or transcription) from beginning of the recording: I believe that relationships are the whole center of our world. It's the most important reality. Many people come and go at L'Arche, but when here we are all just "peaking" out from our hearts hoping someone will recognize me as I am and tell me I am ok.
