Barry Wood

Contains a notebook with Barry Wood's (Vic graduate, class of 1963) lecture notes created while auditing Northrop Frye's "Symbolism in the Bible" course. The notes are neat, legible, and very detailed. Also included is a photocopy of a 2013 Vic Reports article by Barry Wood ("Do you know Northrop Frye?") detailing his memories of Frye at Vic and how he met him again in 1970 while a doctoral student at Stanford.

This collection contains various personal records donated by students, alumni, and their families. Most of these materials focus on the individuals' experiences as students, but some records also detail experiences during various wars and life after graduation. The records include correspondence, photographs, scrapbooks, ephemera, and more.

Consists of one 1893 newspaper, The Gleaner (Jan. 13, 1893, Brampton, ON.). Also contains a 1906 certificate certifying a Life Membership in the Women's Missionary Society of the Methodist Church made out to Mrs. Sandford E . Marshall, Norfolk Street Church Auxiliary.

Consists of a scrapbook assembled by Murray A. Cayley that focuses mainly on the activities of the various musical and dramatic clubs of which he was a member. It includes newspaper clippings, posters and announcements, and programmes for concerts and plays. The scrapbook also contains many ephemera items from his time at Vic, including programmes and invitations for the Freshman and Senior Receptions, Senior Dinners and Graduating Class Dinners as well as Admit to Lectures cards, class schedules, and Hart House membership cards.

Consists of scrapbook compiled by Pearson that contains the following material relating to his student years at Victoria University, 1913-1919: first letter from University; ephemera from events and activities, including "The Bob" and the Union Literary Society, lectures, receptions and dinner; clippings; examination results statements; and convocation programmes. The scrapbook also contains the letter appointing Pearson Lecturer in History, 1923; and clippings of letters written by Pearson during his service in World War I, and published in a newspaper.
