Imitation menus

File contains four fake Chinese food menus with racist language, on 8x11" paper, some of which were faxed. Menus have fake addresses in New York or California. Also includes one Pratt career services menu in the form of a Chinese food menu.

Articles 1988

Contains a mix of original and photocopied clippings of news articles, essays, images, and poetry from Cintaṉaiyāḷaṉ, a monthly publication by the Marxist Periyarist Communist Party in Chennai.

[Timeline of Scarborough College]

File includes placards that seem to have been used for a timeline display of UTSC history. Also includes a printed version of the Office of Advancement's timeline and a compilation timeline of the history of Scarborough College starting from 1913.

Unshelved Library, The

File contains one copy of the promotional booklet for the Scarborough College library building fundraising campaign. Includes history of the library and funding and some photographs.

Library Statistics

File contains one copy of a book of handwritten statistics library statistics for Scarborough and Erindale from Oct. 1964 to May 1967, and three UTL Annual Statistics forms from 2005-2006, and 2006-2007.

File includes two books: Test Pattern: Instructional Television at Scarborough College, University of Toronto by John A. Lee (1971); A History of Scarborough edited by Robert B. Bonis. The first is signed by Plumptre on the front end paper (1965).

Jewelry

File includes three items of jewelry: 10K gold double-link charm bracelet; 10K gold charm displaying the old UTSC logo; ring (possibly silver) displaying UTSC logo. The bracelet and charm appear to be unworn, but the ring is heavily tarnished and has many scratches and other indicators of regular wear. N.B. these items are located in the office of the Head Librarian and may be accessed by request only.

Principal A.F.W. Plumptre - Correspondence [3/3]

File includes correspondence of Principal A.F.W. Plumptre. Topics include UTSC Information Systems, clippings of publications featuring UTSC, and some correspondence with Erindale College. See also: A.F.W. Plumptre collection. File also infludes one audio tape of an interview with Mrs. June Sheppard and Dr. A.W. Plumptre.

Decade Book

The book contains detailed information on the establishment of Scarborough college and its early history as described by the first dean of Scarborough College. Also includes a message from David Onley, and a detailed history on student newspapers and student expression on campus.

David S. Donovan

Contains a paper by Donovan entitled "The Governor General and Lieutenant Governors: Canada's Misunderstood Viceroys"

[Photo album: Graduation Ball and Decennial Celebration]

File includes 28 colour photos depicting students and faculty attending the Graduation Ball and Dicennial Celebration (exact date unknown). Photos feature David Onley, Margaret Birch, and Principal Plumptre. Also included are two black and white photos of architectural models of the campus.

Diamond Jubilee Medal

Contains an official letter from David Johnston (28th Governor General of Canada) and certificate presented in an official bound folder.
