File consists of letters from Gene Seachinger of Equinox Films Inc. regarding the van Gogh film project in which Nouwen was involved, including a schedule for filming at the Abbey of the Genesee and Yale University, difficulties in negotiating with various institutions and museums and filming particular paintings by van Gogh, notably, The Night Café and The Starry Night. Also contains a long typed letter by Nouwen to Searchinger outlining his expectations and difficulties with the direction the film was taking, as well as typed narration for a film titled "Monks Bread" about the Abbey of the Genesee.
