Hamlet : production by the University of Toronto Opera Department

File consists of photographs from the North American premiere production of Hamlet by the University of Toronto Opera Department, including Don Rutherford as Hamlet, various scenes throughout the opera, and two photographs of the stage design by John Stoddart. The opera was produced and directed by Anthony Besch and conducted by Victor Feldbrill.

Faculty reference files

Heloise and Abelard / Charles Wilson

File consists of an annotated copy of the manuscript score, autographed by the composer to Herman Geiger-Torel with four loose pages of Geiger-Torel's notes. Geiger-Torel was the general director of the Canadian Opera Company when this opera was commissioned premiered in September 1973. Leon Major directed the production with Victor Feldbrill, conductor; Murray Laufer, set designer; and Suzanne Mess, costume designer.
