Notebook relating to John Beatty's work as an Agent of the Upper Canada Academy. Title page is inscribed, "John Beatty in Acct. with U.C. Academy." A few pages in there is a section inscribed, "Amt. of Money Rec'd by Jno Beatty for the U.C. Academy."

There is also material relating to Tyrrell's career in local politics and his activities as Justice of the Peace in Weston, Ont. The collection also contains business papers that relate to Tyrrell's contracting and building business.
