Letters from John Dear

File consists of photocopies of twenty-one letters from Henri Nouwen to John Dear. Three of the letters are from secretaries on behalf of Nouwen. Nouwen often gives encouragement to Dear in his ministry. Dear and Nouwen corresponded from 1989 to 1996, often sending support and encouragement to each other. John Dear edited the book "The Road to Peace: Writings on Peace and Justice" by Henri Nouwen (Orbis Books, 2002).
