File consists of the manuscript score and annotated source material for John Beckwith's adaptation of Air variée, op. 15, no. 7 by Charles de Bériot, arranged for clarinet and piano. The arrangement was for the "Jenny Lind and Friends" program at Music at Sharon (July 16, 1983, 8 pm).

File consists of notes, correspondence, and drafts for an article that John Beckwith wrote for Intersections (2013). Beckwith delivered an earlier version of the paper (typescript included) at the Canadian University Music Society (CUMS) conference at the University of Victoria (June 7, 2013). File also includes copies of related correspondence with Istvan Anhalt (1988-1989) and a draft libretto for Anhalt's Oppenheimer opera (1990).

File consists of sketches, the manuscript score, and a manuscript part for oboe. The work was dedicated to the memory of Mieczyslaw Kolinski and was based on dance-song transcription in Music of the Netsilik Eskimo by Beverley Cavanagh (Ottawa, 1982). It was commissioned by Lawrence Cherney and William Aide.

File consists of manuscript scores and parts for an arrangement by John Beckwith of a song with text by Robert Burns. This arrangement was included in the "Canada's Scottish Heritage" program at Music at Sharon (July 12, 1986). Arranged for clarinet, horn, percussion, violin, viola, cello, bass, bagpipes, and SATB chorus. Second version arranged for oboe, keyboard, percussion, and SATB chorus.

Australia tour for Canadian High Commission

File consists of correspondence, itinerary, speaking notes, and a report on a tour of Australia in 1992 by John Beckwith and Kathleen McMorrow, which included 8 seminars or workshops at 5 institutions; talks with composers, musicologists, and music administrators; and 3 radio interviews. The tour was funded in part by a grant from the Academic Exchanges Division, External Affairs and International Trade Canada.
