Fonds consists of 6 series that follow the chronological dates of the records and illustrate the progression of Ran Ide's professional career. Other than the first series, which covers Ran Ide's family and early years, the majority of the records focus on the professional aspects of his life. The final series consists of a finding aid compiled by the donor, John Ide, Ran Ide's son and contains anecdotes and detailed explanations of all of the records at the item level. There is also a series of writings from Ran Ide's Before and After: Recollections which he wrote for his family in 1996 and several writings of memories written by John Ide.

Virginia Woolf fonds

The collection of more than 3000 items contains all the books hand-printed by Leonard and Virginia Woolf at the Hogarth Press in London (1917–1932). (The hand-printed works include many variant issues and bindings). It is also a nearly comprehensive collection of Hogarth Press machine printed books to 1946 (the year Leonard Woolf and the Press joined Chatto &Windus) and contains many rarities and all the significant texts. Included are many variant bindings, first editions, subsequent isues and editions, presentation copies, proofs copies, limited editions and signed limited editions. A substantial number of ephemeral publications, press catalogues, announcements and notices enhance the research utility of the collection. Fonds consists of a letter to Clive Bell, 1926; a letter to Stephen [Spender], [1939?]; and a letter to Lillian Turner, 1936.

James Carscallen fonds

Fonds consists of a scrapbook which contains newspaper clippings, congratulatory messages and letters, photographs and postcards related to his Rhodes Scholarship and his time at Oxford. James Carscallen's thesis from Oxford is also included along with manuscripts and notes for other works.

Fonds also contains a collection of playbills and concert bills for various performances in Toronto and overseas, as well as notices for Victoria College events including performances of the Ichthyology Ensemble, for which James Carscallen played the piano, as well as the Victoria's Winter Musical Interlude.

James Carscallen was a member of the Graduate English Renaissance Group, and the fonds contains notices for several of this group's events. There is a also a file related to an event held at Victoria College called An Evening of Romanticism in Literature, Music and Art, which contains a thank you note from Northrop Frye. Fonds also contains 2 photographs from James Carscallen's retirement from Victoria College in 1996.

Fonds consists of speeches and addresses given by Kenneth R. Wilson at events and symposiums including the Citizen's Forum, World Trade Forum and the National Forum (broadcast on CBC), and to groups including the Rotary Club, the Canadian Club of Toronto, the Empire Club of Canada, and the Victoria College Reunion, etc. Also contains articles written by and about him, and reports on assignments that he was on.

Fonds also includes letters of condolence to his wife Ruth after Kenneth's death in 1952 and letters of condolence addressed to Floyd S. Chalmers, the Executive Vice-President of Maclean Hunter Publishing Company, who was the boss of Kenneth R. Wilson. Contains obituaries, published tributes and the tribute given at his memorial service. Also includes records related to his estate.

Fonds contains several photographs of Kenneth R. Wilson, including a formal portrait by Yousuf Karsh. There is also a short documentary film about Wilson's life and a scrapbook assembled by him that covers his early school days until his work in England on the Canadian War effort (http://pratt116.vicu.utoronto.ca/RS/?r=10061).

Fonds also contains a scrapbook assembled by Kenneth R. Wilson's daughter, Nora Ruth Wilson. This scrapbook mainly consists of images cut out of magazines and newspapers as well as articles related to the end of the war (WWII).

Fonds also contains a notebook belonging to Kenneth R. Wilson's great-grandfather, James Wilson, and a video cassette tape of a tribute to Wilson.

The three photographs show Margaret Gairns with her lifelong friend Marjorie Mann (nee Diehl) VIC3T1, and Marjorie's daughter Susan, whom Margaret considered like her own child.
