B1977-0046: This accession consists of various materials donated by the family of Robert Stanton Gill following his death. It largely chronicles his career as theatre director of Hart House Theatre as well as his involvement in other theatre houses in the United States and Canada. The accession is comprised of four series (1-4). (11 boxes, 1879-1967)

B1995-0028: Two notebooks belonging to Robert Gill, Director of Hart House Theatre, containing notes on 1) lecture notes (1966-1967) and course outlines for a class (1971-1972) and notes on actors; 2) notes on University of British Columbia Opera (1959), Hart House Theatre Summer School (1963?, 1964), course outlines for lectures (1955-1965, 1962-1963), and other notes. Most of the records in this fonds document Harris' research in the history of Higher Education, a subject on which he published widely and gave numerous addresses. Some limited documentation provides researchers with some information on his contributions to several administrative posts. There are also early lecture files on English literature which document his early teaching career and some files relating to the researching and writing of the university history although most of those records are in the records of the University Historian. Finally there are original university records collected by Harris regarding the University of Toronto Faculty Association and its predecessors.

Scope and content:
This collection contains drafts and proofs for a number of Sarah’s published monographs, including Little Eurekas (Biblioasis, 2007), A Day’s Grace (The Porcupine’s Quill, 2003), and The Touchstone: Poems New and Selected (Anansi, 1992), along with correspondence and drafts of Sarah’s contributions to the Porcupine’s Quill Essential Poets series, on Margaret Avison, Don Coles, and George Johnston. Also included are over sixty published examples of Sarah’s poetry, essays, interviews, and fiction, in Canadian and American periodicals such as The Malahat Review, ARC, The Threepenny Review, The Walrus, and The New Quarterly.
In addition, this collection includes correspondence, drafts and published versions of Sarah’s journalistic work, which has appeared in Canadian newspapers such as The Globe and Mail, The Montreal Gazette, and The Ottawa Citizen. Materials relating to Sarah’s editorial work for Cormorant Books and House of Anansi Press are also included, along with material pertaining to Sarah’s involvement in numerous literary events.

The Kaliuzhnyi Papers focus on the life and activities of participants of one of the Ukrainian nationalist movements, the United Hetman Organization [Soiuz hetmantsiv derzhavnykiv], during the 1940s to 1950s. During this period the hetmanite movement was under the leadership of Danylo Skoropadskyi, who assumed the role in 1948 and served until his death in 1957. Rodion Kaliuzhnyi served as his secretary and after Skoropadskyi's death continued to be active in the movement. The collection also includes material on the activites of the Association of Ukrainian Women in Great Britain, as well as other Ukrainian emigre organizations such as the Association of Ukrainians in Great Britain, the Ukrainian Catholic Women's Organization in Germany, and several publishing houses. Other aspects of Ukrainian emigre life are documented by photographs of the Ukrainian community in the displaced persons camps in Mittenwald and Aschaffenburg, Germany from 1946 to 1949.

Consists of 134 slides depicting the University of Toronto campus in the early 1980s. These images were taken by photographer Rudi Christl for use in "University of Toronto: A Souvenir" published by Oxford press in 1984. It also includes images that were taken for the book and not used as well as a series of images of Osgoode Hall.

There are general campus views as well as exterior and interior shots of campus buildings including: University College, Victoria College, Trinity College, St. Michael's College, New College, Wycliff College, Innis College as well as Scarborough and Erindale Colleges; other buildings include Sir Daniel Wilson residence, Flavelle House, Hart House, Sidney Smith Hall, the Athletic Centre, Newman Centre, Botany Greenhouses, Cumberland House, Sandford Fleming, McLennan Laboratories; libraries include: Robarts, Sigmund Samuel and Science and Medicine. This accession also includes several slides of Osgood Hall.

Slides also capture events on campus. For example, there are shots of homecoming floats and parade, student registration, student in study halls, convocation procession, engineering student march, skating and football on the back campus and student theatrical performances - to list only a few.
