Head Collection of Watercolours and Drawings
A collection of fifty-one watercolours and drawings of Canadian scenes by Sir Edmund Walker Head and Lady Head. They were made when Sir Edmund was Lieutenant-Governor of New Brunswick (1848-1854) and Governor-General of Canada (1854-1861). A fragment in Lady Head's hand from the cover of the portfolio in which many of the sketches were kept is also included.

Douglas Fetherling’s literary papers include drafts, galleys, notes, printed appearances and his art work, as well as significant information on literary works and on well-known and aspiring Canadian authors. Authors forwhom files exist (Atwood, Fulford), are listed in the Container List. There is also correspondence with well-known and alternate presses, such as Fifth House and Broadview Press.
The Fetherling family papers have family correspondence and photographs along with material about Fetherling’s father’s work for an American company that manufactured weapons in the early 1940’s.

Drafts, manuscripts and correspondence related to the publication of Eric Wright's short stories and novels.
The collection consists of seven diaries detailing the life John George Mudge. When the diaries open, Mudge is living in Ireland where he owns a creamery at Ballygrenane, near Listowell. By 1904, he has moved to Devon and by 1906 he is working at Oxford House in East London. In the summer of 1907, he journeys to Canada, visiting Montreal, Ottawa, Winnipeg and Vancouver. The latter years of the diaries are illustrated with numerous photographs, postcards and ephemera.

A collection of David Young's correspondence, literary manuscripts, business papers, and ephemera. Correspondence includes both business and personal matters from the late 1960s to 1995. The literary papers include multiple drafts and the galleys for his novels Incognito and Agent Provocateur, the notes and drafts for some of his most successful dramatic works, among them Fire, and Glenn, and many TV scripts. Also included are several of his adaptations of works by other authors for radio, such as Carol Shield's Swann, and Michael Ondaatje's In the Skin of a Lion and The English Patient. Drafts of works by other authors edited by Young and his own manuscripts edited by others, including Michael Ondaatje, are also included. The business papers relate to The Writer's Union of Canada, The Writers' Trust, The For/Words Foundation, Coach House Press and The Baffin Island Project. The ephemera documents the Toronto arts scene.

Includes books, book covers, pre-print paste-ups and negatives, logos, drawings, paintings, posters, cards, brochures, cards, catalogues, and some additional ephemera including a photograph, a newspaper clipping, posters for exhibitions, a pamphlet featuring his work, and a mounted printing plate with one of his designs. The collection documents Viano’s design process from an initial drawing for a book cover or a logo to the finished product and his artistic production and work in commercial and editorial design in Argentina, Venezuela, and Spain between 1958 and 1988.

The letters dating from August to November 1922 describe Hughes' experiences in Toronto where she was treated with insulin by F.G. Banting. Collection consists of three cycles of original pen on paper drawings by Margaret Bloy Graham compiled into portfolio-style binders by the artist. The drawings in Look Out Browning: the British Poets Revisited and More Victoriana are illustrations for famous British poems selected from Palgrave’s Golden Treasury, a popular anthology of Victorian poetry originally published in 1861. The drawings are numbered and correspond to an accompanying list with excerpts from the poems illustrated, totaling thirty-six poems by twelve poets including Robert Browning, Percy B. Shelley and Alfred Tennyson, among others. The cycle Pictures with Morals features darkly comedic punishments for children who make mistakes like being too curious, sledding on Sunday, not reading the Bible daily, and trespassing.

There is a large number of original art boards and other oversized materials, such as posters. The editorial records of I Shot Mussolini by Eldon Garnet is also included along with related correspondence.
