External Sources of Information

The series E. External Sources of Information covers the years 1956 and 1960 to 2007. The series contains items that are relevant to UTSC’s history and operations but were not created at the university or by university bodies. The materials have been placed in subseries based on their institution of origin or a perceived similarity in use. There are nine subseries in series E.

[History of Scarborough]

File includes correspondence; data from Boyle's "History of the Township of Scarborough"; Suggested Sequence of Tour Points for Self-Conducted Tour of Scarborough, with attached map and information about sites; history of Frenchman's Bay, Pickering Township, Ontario County; timeline from "19th Century News" covering history of Scarborough from 1787 to 1896, with attached essays on same.

[History of Scarborough - Publications]

File includes The Highland Creek Story 1918-1968 (published in celebration of the 50th anniversary of Highland Creek Public School); An Abridged History of the Township of Scarborough by Robert Boris, official historian of Scarborough Township Library; two prints of old photographs, presumably depicting Scarborough.

[History of the Rouge Valley]

[Campus Tours]
