The collection includes original paintings of Canadian flora and mushrooms by Chamberlin, and subscription books for her book Canadian Wild Flowers (1868 and 1869 editions). Most of the paintings have not been reproduced. It also contains original paintings and photographs of Canadian flora and other subjects by Chamberlin's daughter, Geraldine Moodie, an album of pressed plants by Moodie, and an album of pressed ferns by Catherine Parr Trail.

The second part of the collection includes records and artifacts from the renamed Alliance: the People for Sunday Association of Canada, from 1982 until its dissolution in 1994. There is also material from other organizations concerned with Sunday observance.

The collection includes correspondence both private and public, diaries, natural history notebooks, a few sketches, and scrapbooks. Much of the material pre-dates Fothergill's arrival in Upper Canada in 1816. Some of the family correspondence continues for over 30 years after his death in 1840.

Deacon, William Arthur
Collection consists of manuscripts from various sources relating to the Spanish Civil War and to various anti-Franco organizations in Canada and the United States to support the Republican cause. Included are manuscripts; correspondence; scrapbooks containing clippings, correspondence, documents and prints; and records relating to the fiftieth anniversary of the Spanish Civil War including photographs, memorabilia, awards and audio recordings.
The collection consists of glass slides used by Emily Warren to illustrate her lectures in the 1920's and 1930's, as well as some lecture notes and other writings by Warren. It also contains a few items relating to John Ruskin, including five pieces of manuscript, a typescript of Constance McRae's book on Emily Warren, The Light must be Perfect (1981), and some of her research material. There are also two large volumes of coloured slides of Emily Warren's paintings.
The collection covers the personal and professional life of Jarvis. It contains general and business correspondence, typescripts, magazine articles, minutes of meetings, newspaper clippings and photographs. Much of the early correspondence consists of letters Jarvis wrote home to his family while he was at Oxford (1938-39) and while he was working in Britain (1942-55).

This collection consists of architectural drawings and other documentation for buildings designed by Toronto architect George M. Miller and his son William J. Miller. Additional documentation includes microfilms of G.M. Miller's ledger books (1894-1912), as well as correspondence, specifications and other materials for several of the buildings designed by Miller of his son. It also includes photographs of many of the buildings designed by Miller and a small amount of biographical material.

The collection consists of anatomical drawings by Ross. The majority of the drawings represent a complete dissection of the human neck and torso, including all major organs. Their value lies in their artistic merit, and in the unique record they provide of the teaching methods of Max Brodel, one of the pioneers of medical illustration.

Collection is largely comprised of papers from Terry Schott, an orinthological artist and author and chief artist at the Royal Ontario Museum until his retirement. Included in the correspondence are letters from J. L. Baillie whose papers are also in the Thomas Fisher Rare Book Library.
Allin, Albert Ellis
A collection of fifty-one watercolours and drawings of Canadian scenes by Sir Edmund Walker Head and Lady Head. They were made when Sir Edmund was Lieutenant-Governor of New Brunswick (1848-1854) and Governor-General of Canada (1854-1861). A fragment in Lady Head's hand from the cover of the portfolio in which many of the sketches were kept is also included.

Consists of a master copy, with extra illustrations and documents, of In Good Faith, being the story of some Jarvises, namely Stephen Jarvis, and his ancestors, along with an appendix containing the two elder branches of United Empire Loyalist families, namely Munson Jarvis and some family and William Jarivs and some family. Based on family papers, some of which were subsequently deposited in the Metro Toronto Public Library and in the Anglican Church Archives.
