Also includes manuscript letters from Jean Speziali to the Neighborhood Workers association and to her family from camp.

A collection of 111 original art sketches (3 ink and 108 watercolour) of British landscape scenes by Arthur John Randle Ford made on envelopes that were mailed to his son Norman Renwick Randle Ford in Canada. The majority of sketches date from 1908 to 1916. Two date from 1921.

20 unnumbered leaves, with 16 additional items laid-in. Contents of a scrapbook and photo album (disbound) compiled by Sergeant Norman L. Smith during World War II. Includes copies of letters, telegrams, and postcards sent home, newspaper clippings, Christmas and Mother's Day cards issued by the Army, hand-drawn maps, photographs of the soldiers in Smith's division and the areas in which they were stationed, French and German currency, printed maps annotated by Smith, and German-language leaflets dropped by American forces to instruct enemy soldiers on the process of surrendering.

Great Eastern July 13, 1866 – Sept. 8, 1866 Telegraphs Telegraph Collection a narrative of the laying of the cable. Minor incidents are recorded here such as on July 17 “warning bell touched by accident” and the following day “cables are entangled in tank”. The cables become much more detailed toward the end of July and the second part of this signal journal describes the successful attempt to refind the 1865 cable repair it and complete its connection with Newfoundland.]

The documents include photographs documenting the primary activities of the Ukrainian People’s Home, particularly its choir and executive. The posters promoted the various concerts and theatrical performances organized by the community. The miscellaneous documents relate to the Home and to the Prosvita (Enlightenment) and Ridna Shkola societies in Lviv, Ukraine.

Collection of materials related to the life and work of Argentinian designer and illustrator Víctor Viano. Includes books, book covers, pre-print paste-ups and negatives, logos, drawings, paintings, posters, cards, brochures, cards, catalogues, and some additional ephemera including a photograph, a newspaper clipping, posters for exhibitions, a pamphlet featuring his work, and a mounted printing plate with one of his designs. The collection documents Viano’s design process from an initial drawing for a book cover or a logo to the finished product and his artistic production and work in commercial and editorial design in Argentina, Venezuela, and Spain between 1958 and 1988.

This collection of Polish uncensored publications and Solidarity/[Solidarność] material includes non-periodical publications, graphics, photographs, cassettes, medals, stamps, artifacts, posters as well as other material generated by "Solidarność” and related organizations in Poland and internationally. Periodicals, books and pamphlets which initially constituted the largest part of the collection, have been catalogued separately.

Some of the collection highlights include bulletins and documents issued by the Coordinating Office Abroad of NSZZ “Solidarność” and by international groups organized in support of NSZZ “Solidarność.” Canadian organizations and initiatives are represented extensively. In 1983, the call to expand the collection was issued to private donors to donate Polish Solidarity material in their possession, and the collection has grown since then.

This collection contains correspondence between Ezra Pound (1885-1972) and H.G. Barton, as well as between Barton and others, including Robert Harborough Sherard (1861-1943), regarding Ezra Pound and Oscar Wilde. Also included are prospectuses for works by Pound and Sherard, clippings, and prose about Pound.

Many samples bear the names of the colours, places of manufacture, and names of local merchant companies in China and India including Carlowitz & Co. and Manilal Mooljee.
