Among the other major North American fires represented in the scrapbook include those in the cities of Baltimore, Rochester, Halifax, Indianapolis, New Orleans, Three Rivers (Que.), Salem (Mass.), Campbelltown (NB), Houston and Atlanta, among others. The scrapbook appears to have been assembled by an underwriter from the firm of Royal Insurance Company of Liverpool.
