A CD containing photographs and a web presentation document the dedication of the Roy Oglesby Room at 21 King's College Circle. Two CDs document the University of Toronto 175th Banners. They contain portraits (Tif files) as well as images of each banner (PDF files). There are 136 people, mainly famous or accomplished alumni and faculty.

VHS and CD copies of two promotions produced to celebrate the 175th anniversary. "175th Anniversary" and "Alumni Video 2003" feature clipped interviews with well known academics and alumni including architect Raymond Moriyama, activist Craig Keilburger, medical scientist Lap-Chee Tsui, filmaker David Cronenberg, politician Paul Martin, ballet dancer Karen Kain, judge Roseli Abella, artist Doris McCarthy, activist Zana Acanda and many more. The "175th Anniversary" was probably used during a gala and has an introduction by Lorne Michaels, producer of Saturday Night Live.

Sound cassettes and videos collected by the Department of Public Affairs in the course of their promotion of the University. Both sound and video tapes document speeches, convocations, special events, fundraising and research. There are also video productions promoting the University of Toronto in particular as well as specific areas of higher education. Such is the case in Discovering Science produced by Media Centre to encourage young women to enter the fields of science and engineering and which features many prominent University of Toronto scientists. There is a promotional tape for the Division of Occupational Therapy and one promoting research in the fields of the humanities and social sciences.

The early records contain dot-matrix reports for PhD, EdD, MA, MED and Special student applications. The later reports contain more detailed information for applicants within the specific departments and graduate programs offered at OISE.

Banners (5) produced by the University to commemorate the 175th Anniversary. Banners were displayed on street polls along high traffic areas of the Greater Toronto Area. Each banner contains image of an individual graduate: Margaret Atwood, Peter Gzowski, J. Robert Prichard, Vaira Vike-Freiberga and Deborah McGregor. Also includes accompanying brochure with biographies of alumni.

Approximately 3300 colour slides document the University of Toronto during the 1970s and 1980s. These are publicity shots used by the Department of Public Affairs for promotional purposes, slide shows and publications. They are arranged alphabetically by subject and include several files of campus views, buildings, alumni, campus tours, convocation, Hart House, laboratories and students. Specific events documented include Homecoming, the Botany Flower Show, Varsity Fund Telethon, President Ham's Installation, author Ann Hebert's lecture at University College, U of T Day and an event called "University Game".

Addresses by administrative officials, including Presidents Sidney Smith and Claude Bissell, at official events, including the installation of principals and chancellors and the openings of buildings; programmes for and papers delivered at the National Conference of Universities held at the University of Toronto, 1955; report of the President's Advisory Committee on Student Awards, 1958; and material relating to the Sesquicentennial celebrations of the University of Toronto in 1977: pamphlets, announcements, the official scrapbook, posters (some mounted), and mounted photoprints used in an electron microscope display at the Eaton Centre.

Typescript draft of article written by Ian Montagnes (ca. 1963) on past Varsity Editors for an unidentified university publication. Article includes short biography on each subject. Also includes related correspondence and contemporary photographs and contact prints taken of The Varsity alumni, many by Jack Marshall.
Accession also includes 1 file on the Southam Newspaper Fellowship and a photograph of the Southam Fellows that appears in the Dec. 1963 issue of the "Varsity Graduate".

1 photo album of carved wood containing b/w and colour photographs of the University of Toronto Ukranian Studies exhibition of the life and work of Andrei Sheptyts'kyi. The exibition took place November 22-24, 1984 at Robart's Library. It documented the work of Andrei Sheptyts-kyi, spiritual leader of the Ukranian Caltholics (b. 1865-d. 1944) who fought to save Jews during WWII.
