Lord's Day Alliance of Canada Papers
This collection includes correspondence, minute books, administrative records, legal documents, photographs, scrapbooks and printed materials generated by the Alliance and many of its branches from 1888 to 1979. The second part of the collection includes records and artifacts from the renamed Alliance: the People for Sunday Association of Canada, from 1982 until its dissolution in 1994. There is also material from other organizations concerned with Sunday observance.
Lord's Day Alliance of Canada
Collection of twelve medals dating from the late 18th century to the 1930s. It includes medals from Cenenario de la Universidad de Buenos Aires (1821-1921), Twentieth International American Congress (Rio de Janeiro, 1875-1922) and the University of Poitiers (1432-1932).
Collection consists of manuscripts from various sources relating to the Spanish Civil War and to various anti-Franco organizations in Canada and the United States to support the Republican cause. Included are manuscripts; correspondence; scrapbooks containing clippings, correspondence, documents and prints; and records relating to the fiftieth anniversary of the Spanish Civil War including photographs, memorabilia, awards and audio recordings.

This collection includes 56 boxes and items. The documents consist of personal and business correspondence, articles and addresses, banking and legal documents, estate information, biography information, and other items. The correspondence relates to art and the National Gallery, De Grassi Point, geology, Japanese consul, The Champlain Society, the National Battlefields Commission, the Royal Colonial Institute, the Round Table, University College Alumnae Association Building Committee. There is a significant amount of correspondence from the Canadian Bank of Commerce, the University of Toronto, and the Royal Ontario Museum, and with many prominent individuals in Canada and worldwide as well as letters to Mary before and after they married and messages of condolence received by the family after the death of Sir Edmund Walker. Other documents in the collection relate to the Alexander, Buchan, and Morrow families; the Coronation of King George V and other special events; the Duke of Sutherland's Scheme (Imperial Colonization Corporation of Canada); the West Virginia Debt Settlement; and C. White Mortimer. The items are books, a lace handkerchief, a wooden drawer containing numerous calling cards, card index of pictures and art objects, a framed drawing of the coat of arms, Sir Edmund Walker's certificates and medal upon being admitted as a Knight of the Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem, pieces of the fireplace from Long Garth, a silver vase, a silver bowl, a china plate with Walker crest and logo, and a fishing rod and net.

Collection includes a steel cranial measuring device; a steel archaeological specimen; two offprint accounts written and illustrated by De Brettes describing his expeditions and scientific work in South America; and an offprint bibliographical outline of De Brettes’ extensive explorations in South America and elsewhere as well as his naval and army service.
Also includes album of autographs collected while in South America; 3 photographic identification cards; his personal library bookplate; an offprint poem signed and dedicated by French poet Jehan Rictus; as well as correspondence connected with his efforts as Vice-President of a Portuguese railway company, in particular dealing with a meeting with the King, including 3 manuscript telegrams sent from Lisbon September 1905 and 2 manuscript letters dated 1905.
