This fonds includes six series, divided by format. These are: Textual Material, Photographic Material, Audio Material, Video Material, Cinefilm/Cinex, and Artifacts.

The first series, Textual Material, is chiefly made up of scripts, storyboards, production files, research files, correspondence, meeting notes, equipment files, technical drawings, bylaws, cast/crew lists, contracts and proposals.

The second series, Photographic Material, represents all periods of Spiess’ career, from his early portraiture and fine art images to his industrial/commercial work to production stills documenting his cinematographic work. This series is divided into two subseries: PH.1239 & PH.610977 and PH.240609.

The third series, Audio Material, includes soundtrack production elements and music.

The fourth series, Video Material, includes high quality dubs of the various versions of the finished commercial productions, as well as production elements for those commercials shot on video.

The fifth series, Cinefilms/Cinex, includes finished release prints of the various commercials as well as a number of short films by Spiess.

The sixth series, Artifacts, consists of examples of the tools that Spiess used to teach his students, as well as mementos of his involvement with the CSC.

Don’t Hurry Past: Cerebral Palsy

This accession documents primarily the research and writing activities of Prof. Pimlott during his academic career as a student, environmentalist and teacher of zoology and forestry at the University of Toronto. Documentation of his participation in various national and inter-national organizations is found among professional correspondence (Series I) and subject files (Series IV). Drafts and offprints of his writings as a student (including his doctoral thesis), government employee, and professor of zoology at the University of Toronto are contained in Series VI and VII. Much of the early data he collected on moose for both his theses and government reports and later, on wolves are to be found in the research materials and field notebooks in Series VIII and Series IX. Additional correspondence following his death on July 31, 1978 has been preserved in Series III and contains tributes, and summaries of his contributions and accomplishments to wildlife management and the environment.

Eighteen binders of slides, photographs, contact sheets document men's and women's intramural and intercollegiate sports from 1979-1986. Approx. 50 team portraits document the Varsity Hockey and Football teams through the 1950s and early 1960s. Also included are a few portraits of early Varsity teams from the 1920s, 1930s and 1940s.
Also includes three films that were used as teaching tools in the Faculty as well as a copy the NFB film Runner, a documentary on Canadian runner Bruce Kidd.

1 photo album of carved wood containing b/w and colour photographs of the University of Toronto Ukranian Studies exhibition of the life and work of Andrei Sheptyts'kyi. The exibition took place November 22-24, 1984 at Robart's Library. It documented the work of Andrei Sheptyts-kyi, spiritual leader of the Ukranian Caltholics (b. 1865-d. 1944) who fought to save Jews during WWII.

Collection consists of two series. The first consists of 14 original works of art by Thoreau MacDonald and two original pencil drawings by J.E.H MacDonald donated by Leon Katz. The second series consists primarily of ephemera related to Thoreau MacDonald, which was donated by Ron Peters. This material is primarily composed of cards with his designs, order forms for books with his illustrations and other promotion material. Also included in the second series is research material used by Thoreau MacDonald related to hawks, predators and the environment.

Fonds consists of material pertaining to first four short films that grew into the series and the subsequent season of production of the half-hour television series The Kids of Degrassi Street. The show ran from 1979 – 1984, and all 4 short films and 22 episodes were broadcast on CBC television. The collection consists of 121 boxes of material spanning all episodes of the show. The fonds is divided into 2 series: Corporate Records and Post-Production Records.

The first series, Corporate Records, consists of 15 boxes. These include correspondence/memos, resumes and bios, fan mail, budgets, scripts, promotional materials, teaching aids, financial and banking records, sponsor files, production and continuity stills, character files, legal documents, insurance documents, music cue sheets, and architectural drawings.

The second series, Post-Production Records, consists of 20 boxes. These include 16 mm original negative, interpositive, A&B rolls, optical soundtrack, music, master mix audio, edits, various masters, and promo reels. Textual documents include sound notes/charts, editing/mix notes and credits.

The material has retained its original arrangement.

Accession consists of records documenting Boeschenstein's academic activities and outside interests, especially those within the German-Canadian community. Amongst the latter are the Canadian Society for German Relief, the German-Canadian Club "Harmonie", and the Trans-Canada Alliance of German Canadians. Accrual consists of photographs and negatives collected and taken by the donor’s parents, Aiko and David Murakami. Photographs are primarily from Aiko (nee. Kondo) Murakami and her family in Victoria, B.C. The photographic negatives are primarily taken by David Murakami. They include scenes of the Steveston fishing industry, and those who worked in it. The negatives also include images from the Japanese Canadian internment camps in Kaslo and New Denver, where the family was living. There are also some family photographs and accompanying negatives of the Murakami’s and their friends in Toronto, O.N.
