The fonds consists of records kept by Stephen Reynolds during the course of his adult life. These include correspondence with family, friends, and colleagues that illuminate his personal life, his Christian faith, and his various pastoral and intellectual pursuits. Carbon copies of many outgoing letters were created and kept. Reynolds kept an intermittent diary through the time period represented here. These were sometimes typed, and often handwritten in small notebooks. He apparently removed pages from these notebooks and inserted them in files with correspondence and other material from the same time period.

Other records include academic papers, research material, sermons, prayers, drafts of manuscripts, course materials, and some official documents such as academic transcripts.

Fonds documents all aspects of Trinity College's program of granting in absentia music degrees in Britain from its inception in 1885 to its demise in 1891. Included in this material is correspondence with practicing musicians, with those administering the program in Britain, and with various university and government officials. There are administrative records such as calendars, degree requirements and formal examination papers. Formal and legal documents, such as the “Memorial” and responses to it, as well as communications with university chancellors show the increasing opposition to the program. Many newspaper and journal clippings document these events.

Fonds consists mainly of correspondence regarding the editing and production of the 3rd revision and enlarged edition of Halkett and Laing’s A Dictionary of Anonymous and Pseudonymous Publications in the English Language, 1475-1640 (Harlow, England: Longman, 1980), edited by John Horden. Neill was a member of the editorial committee for the 3rd revision, headed by Horden, the director of the Institute of Bibliography and Textual Criticism at the University of Leeds. Commonly referred to as “Halkett and Laing” after its original authors, Samuel Halkett (1814-71) and John Laing (1809-80), the dictionary was first published in four volumes between 1882 and 1888. A revised edition in nine volumes, edited by J. Kennedy, W. A. Smith, and A. F. Kennedy, was published between 1926 and 1962. Only one volume of the 3rd revision was published. Trinity College Tennis Club fonds

The Trinity College Tennis Club began as the St. Hilda's Tennis Club around 1940. Sometime later (1950-52) it became known as the Trinity Grads Tennis Club (membership dependent on being a graduate of any university). In 1962 it became the St. George Tennis Club, opening up membership to all interested players. About 1976 the name was changed again to the Trinity College Tennis Club. There were originally five courts; two were lost in 1960 when St. Hilda's expanded. In 2012, the courts were closed due to the construction of the Goldring Centre for High Performance Sport. In 2016, the Club was advised that Trinity College would not re-open the courts. Despite lengthy negotiations between the Club, Trinity College, and the City, the final AGM was held on September 17, 2017.

Fonds consists mainly of records related to the production of the musical comedy/operetta Saints Alive! (1949) for which Ronald Bryden (later a theatre critic and academic) wrote the libretto and Keith MacMillan wrote the music during their time at Trinity College. Included are copies of the script, libretto, and score; MacMillan’s scrapbook about the show, with his annotations on the script; lists of cast members; programs and reviews. As well, there is a script and parts of the handwritten music manuscript for another collaboration by MacMillan and Bryden: the one-act musical comedy What – No Crumpets! (1947). The fonds includes other creative writing by MacMillan from his Trinity days.

Fonds consists of research material gathered by John Hadwen as source material for his manuscript on the Colombo Plan. He appears to have worked on this project at two different points: during a year leave to study in Geneva in 1971-72 and after his retirement in 1987. Included are original documents and later photocopies of External Affairs documents, published material, internal printed documents for delegates to Colombo Plan Consultative Committee meetings, correspondence, briefing notes, and draft manuscripts. The final copy of Hadwen's manuscript on the Colombo Plan, and his correspondence with a publisher, are also included.

Fonds consists of records pertaining to George Ignatieff’s professional career and personal life. Genealogical information about the Ignatieff family documents their lives in Russia and immigration to Canada. Some records relate to the Parkin and Grant familes. Family records include memoirs, diaries, photographs, student records, journals and correspondence. Ignatieff’s professional life as a diplomat with the Canadian government is documented by correspondence, subject files, speeches, reports, newspaper clippings and photographs.
Records from 1972 to 1986 are mainly from Ignatieff’s career as an administrator at the University of Toronto. These records were generated during day-to-day operations of these offices and include correspondence, subject files, speeches, writings, clippings and notebooks. In addition, there are documents associated with other organizations and activities in which he was involved, as well as documents relating to his honorary degrees and awards. Extensive background material and drafts trace the evolution of Ignatieff’s published memoir, The Making of a Peacemonger.

Correspondence and photographs can be found throughout the fonds. Researchers are encouraged to search broadly.

Manuscript journals used by Graham while a member of Parliament and a member and chair of the House of Commons Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Trade (SCFAIT) to record his activities and to take notes during meetings. Interleaved between the pages of the journals are related documents; the placement of these interleaved documents has been maintained. The final two journals document the first months of Graham's tenure as Minister of Foreign Affairs.

Files consists of two weekly diaries for the years 1994 and 1996, used to record appointments and engagements.
