The University of Toronto, including the Faculty of Music, returned to in-person events with limited capacity audiences in September 2021. Concerts were cancelled, postponed, or virtual only during January 2022 as the University shifted to predominantly remote instruction due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The University returned to in-person learning (and in-person events at the Faculty of Music resumed) as of February 7, 2022. The majority of concerts during the 2021-2022 concert season were streamed online via the Faculty's various YouTube channels.
