1961-1962 Season

File contains a scrapbook with newspaper and magazine articles related to the Canadian Farm Radio Forum dating from 1961 and 1962.

File also contains several folders of loose articles that had been tucked into the scrapbook. These articles date primarily from 1960-1965, although there are a few articles from 1944-1945 as well.

A. E. Burns

File contains a Provincial Model School certificate issued June 1890, certifying that A. E. Burns had been promoted to the Fifth class.

A. L. Humphreys Materials

Series contains materials belonging to A. L. Humphreys as a student at Toronto Normal School. Materials in this series include correspondence, certificates, blank report cards, and an examination timetable.

Action Projects

File contains forms for registering action projects, project reports and supplemental materials, and lists of projects taken on by individual farm forums. File also contains various other documents related to the early operation of the farm radio forums, including newsletters, program guides, correspondence, questionnaires, and meeting reports.

Agnes J. Bell

File contains a monthly report card for Agnes Bell, detailing the grades received at the Elora Public School as a pupil in the Senior III class, from January-May 1897.

Albert Odell

File contains a teaching contract between Albert Odell and the Public School Board of the Village of Watford, signed September 1, 1887.

Algebra

File contains one notebook for Form 3 Algebra class. The structure of the notebook consists of paperboard covers that hold loose leaf pages. The first section of the notebook is bound by string.

Alice McCallum

File contains two notebooks created by Alice McCallum. These workbooks include a teacher's copy of a "Rhythm, Band, Play" notebook and a book with notes on teaching method related to learning to write. File also contains a letter from the donor and a photograph of the Vankoughnet School taken in 1943.

Alice and Lilian Dent

Series contains records and sample work produced by Lilian and Alice Dent, who worked as Kindergartners in Toronto for many years. Lilian Dent took her kindergarten training in New York (1898-1899), while Alice Dent was trained later in Toronto. Series includes certificates, photographs, pamphlets, notebooks, and samples for Froebelian work.

File contains one binder of notes for Form 3 Ancient & Medieval History class. The structure of the binder consists of cardboard covers that hold loose leaf pages.

Anonymous

Series contains five books with no ownership marks. These books contain samples of Froebelian work and would have been created during the creator's time as a student Kindergartener. Although undated, these books would most likely have been created during the early 1900s.

Series consists of newspaper clippings and photocopies of newspaper and magazine articles on the topic of the railway car schools.

Artwork

Series contains loose artworks produced by (elementary-aged) public school pupils at Ontario schools.

Many of the materials in this scrapbook offer insight into the operation of the Farm Radio Forum, such as materials depicting the procedure of selecting broadcast topics. The items in this scrapbook include correspondence, memoranda, newspaper clippings, photographs, reports, workshop materials, copies of pamphlets and Farm Forum Handbooks, lists of Farm Forum topics, transcripts of broadcasts, questionnaires and survey findings, press releases, newsletters, conference programmes, meeting minutes, job announcements, and election procedures.
