Plaque for microfilming of Acta Victoriana

Plaque reads: Victoria University is grateful for the generosity of the classes of 1915, 1925, 1930, 1935, 1945, and 1960 whose reunion gift in 1985 made possible the microfilming of Acta Victoriana, thus preserving an important part of Canada's literary heritage for future generations of writers and scholars. Victoria also wishes to thank the Laidlaw Foundation for its support and encouragement of this project.

Victoria University 1T7 Pin

Victoria University 1T7 pin ; small gold V with pearls. Possibly the creation of WW Munn, Toronto jeweller and optician at 800 Yonge St. At one point his firm held the contract for to create Victoria pins in 10K gold and pearls. Advertisements for the firm and the pins can be found in Acta Victoriana.

C.F. Logan’s Oratory Medal, Faculty of Theology, Victoria University 1906

This medal was awarded to C.F. Logan in 1906 for "Oratory" in the Faculty of Theology at Victoria University. The Medal was a prized passion of his daughter Genevieve Logan of the Victoria College class of 1935. The medal was given back to Victoria after she passed away in the mid 1990s. It has been in the Registrar's Office for the past 15 years..."

Trowel from laying of cornerstone of Old Vic. Inscription on top reads: "Presented to Mrs. Geo. A. Cox by the Regents of Victoria University on the Occasion of laying the Cornerstone in the Queens Park Toronto June the 15th A.D 1891"
