The interview was conducted by David Rudkin, University Archivist and was done in conjunction with the transfer of records of the Committee in 1981 (See A82-0001). The origins and activities of the Insulin Committee are discussed as well as the history of the records found in A82-0001.

Sound cassettes and videos collected by the Department of Public Affairs in the course of their promotion of the University. Both sound and video tapes document speeches, convocations, special events, fundraising and research. There are also video productions promoting the University of Toronto in particular as well as specific areas of higher education. Such is the case in Discovering Science produced by Media Centre to encourage young women to enter the fields of science and engineering and which features many prominent University of Toronto scientists. There is a promotional tape for the Division of Occupational Therapy and one promoting research in the fields of the humanities and social sciences.

Positive microfiche reproductions of the field notebooks and trench reports associated with the excavations carried out at Kommos, Crete by the University of Toronto and the Royal Ontario Museum, under the auspices of the American School of Classical Studies in Athens, Greece, during 1976 and 1977. Cassette copy of tape-recorded interviews with six village elders from Pitsidia, Greece, concerning early archaeological explorations in the area and the history of the area from approximately 1920 to the present (1977); conducted in conjunction with the Kommos Excavations in Crete by Joseph W. Shaw, Professor of Fine Art, in May and June, 1977; together with a transcript (34 p.) of the above interviews, translated into English by Maria Coutroubakis (June, 1977).

Hart House

Oversize photographs and one panoramic shows groups in front of Hart House during World War I including portraits for the Military Hospitals Commission Command, School of Massage, School of Orthopaedic and Physiotherapy and Nursing Staff. There is also one image of Soldier's Tower.

Reel to Reel sound recordings of the first four International Teach-ins held at Varsity Stadium beginning with the Teach-in on Vietnam in 1965. They include: "Revolution and Response" (1st:1965); "China: Co-existence or Containment" (2nd : 1966), "Religion and International Affairs" (3rd : 1967) and "Exploding Humanity - the crisis in numbers" ( 4th : 1968). These recordings were originally produced by CJRT, Radio Service at Ryerson Polytechnical and broadcast on CBC FM over each of the three day teach-ins.
