This fonds is divided into 2 series, according to format. These are: Video Material and Cinefilms. All of the material in this collection pertains to the
production of one music video by the Toronto-based band Cowboy Junkies.

The first series, Video Material, consists of the screening dubs of the camera original negative (for editorial decisions) and protection copies (for actual high quality editing). A copy is also included.

The second series, Cinefilms, consists of 35mm colour camera original negative footage from which the final production was culled.

Fonds documents research undertaken by Gwynneth Heaton in 1993 and 1994 to investigate the provision of reference services in medical school libraries. The investigation examined factors that may affect reference service such sa the proximity of other desks providing information; the type of staff providing the service; the variety of services provided; the provision of research assistance by appointment; the physical proximity of a hospital; and the use of problem based learning in the medical school curriculum. The project involved a mail survey and follow up visits to selected medical libraries in Canada and the United States. The results of this research were published in various academic library journals.

The accession consists of correspondence, questionnaires, raw survey data, research notes and manuscripts of published and unpublished articles resulting from Ms. Heaton's research project.

L'Arche Trosly-Breuil fonds

Henri J.M. Nouwen was a close friend of Jean Vanier and was invited to join the L'Arche Trosly-Breuil and was an active member of their community from August 1985 to May 1986. His experiences at Trosly-Breuil are published in his work, "The Road to Daybreak". The fonds consists of eleven audio cassettes of lectures and retreats given by Nouwen. The fonds also contains one compact disc of photographs of various subjects, including Nouwen. The records range in date from 1985 to 2008.
