B1994-0028: Correspondence, addresses, a report authored by Hughes regarding pharmaceutical education in Newfoundland and copies of a column he wrote regarding student life at the Ontario College of Pharmacist in "Drug Merchandising" (1928). Also includes several scrap books containing correspondence, awards, photographs, press clippings, programs and other memorabilia documenting Dr. Hughes' achievements. (4 boxes, 1929-1993)

The fonds includes personal papers of Provost Cosgrave, Chronicles of the Kirkpatrick family, correspondence, genealogical information on the Colley, Foster, Kirkpatrick and Cosgrave families, Extracts from the Diary of Captain Joseph Bull, Provost Cosgrave's Visitor's Book, photographs, and an address written by Cosgrave for the memorial service of Gerard B. Strathy.

Included are some drafts of her books, articles, addresses, and reports; her honorary degrees and other awards (including photos and a video), other photos, and a (RSC) medal.

Fonds consist of correspondence with friends and Trinity associates, newspaper clippings, photographs, ephemera, and information on people such as Charles F. Pashler, George Ignatieff, and William Wright. Files include extensive information on the Theological Education Sundays project. Also included is a file with information on the ordination of women into the Anglican Church.

This fonds contains the files of Edward Aloysius Synan, accumulated during his time as Chair of the Department of Philosophy at Seton Hall University, his time as professor of philosophy at the University of St. Michael's College and the University of Toronto, and his time as professor of mediaeval philosophy at the Pontifical Institute of Mediaeval Studies. His files also include materials from his time as President of the Pontifical Institute.

Fonds consists of records created by Father Donovan throughout the course of his maintenance of the Donovan Art Collection and time as a professor at St. Michael’s College. Records include various administrative documents, financial documents, correspondences, research materials, publications, and lists regarding artwork in the collection and their locations on campus.

The collection consists of the typescript of a novel, The Moon and the Morning Star, with many alterations as well as a suggested epilogue. With it are two pages of notes and a holograph letter from Livesay to Miss Byam in which she discusses the historical background of the novel.

This collection consists of correspondence and papers written by Nightingale to Annie Machin, a friend and pupil. They describe her concerns about the new Montreal General Hospital, including the selection of trained nurses for it. The letters show Nightingale's attention to detail about the hospitals where the nurses would work, her concern for their well-being, their qualifications and suitability for the work.

Correspondence of Florence Neelands with family members, including her brother, Ernest Victor, friends and fellow students while a student in modern languages at the University of Toronto. Topics include the 1894 production of 'Antigone' and the 1895 student strike. Also included are photographs, mostly of family members and friends (some identified) but also including images of tribesmen, possibly in Papua-New Guinea.

Fonds consists of an 18-page typescript enclosed in a paper cover, entitled ‘Poems by Miss Florence Westacott, B.A. (Trin) '06’. The typescript includes editorial annotations.

Collection consists of correspondence and business material related to the Fleming Family of Ontario. There is special emphasis on material about Niagara Falls, Owen Sound, Ontario local history and Northern Business College. Much of the material is related to Christopher Alexander Fleming, a life-long teacher and author of several textbooks on penmanship, mensuration, bookkeeping and business practices.

Collection consists of late-eighteenth, nineteenth, and early-twentieth century flutes, predominantly made by various builders and companies in London, England, as well as two from Paris, one from France, and one from Bayreuth, Germany. The collection covers the mechanization and modernization of the flute, including the addition of holes and keys, and the move from wood to metal for the body of the flute.

The fonds consists of administrative records kept by the Canadian chapter of the Fellowship, and includes correspondence, minutes, membership lists, programs, published material and forms.

Fonds contains records relating to Hare’s work as a climatologist, geographer, and scholar. Files include correspondence, conference and meeting materials, published and unpublished reports and articles (by Hare and others), scientific data, photographs, newspaper clippings, letters of reference, pamphlets, newsletters, and other publications. Files also include a typed copy of Hare’s memoir, I’ll Always Take a Windowseat, as well as academic certificates and degrees.

The fonds consists of manuscripts, correspondence, notes, research material and other records relating to publications and intended publications, 1957-1992, including Types of Shakespearean Romance with interpretations of Cymbeline, The Winter's Tale and The Tempest, Pericles, and Medicine and Shakespeare in the English Renaissance; manuscripts, notes, announcements, correspondence and other records relating to lectures and papers given at conferences and seminars, 1964-1997; correspondence, course notes and outlines, research material and other records relating to other academic work, 1951-1980; and photographs of illustrations used in essay in Science and the Arts in the Renaissance.

The collection consists of material collected by Hoeniger in the course of researching the forgeries of John Payne Collier (1789-1883). It also contains a collection of letters from writers and theatrical people.

Fonds documents Prof. Schabas' forty year career as teacher, administrator, and consultant with the Royal Conservatory of Music and the Faculty of Music at the University of Toronto, and his numerous external activities as consultant, juror, examiner, and as member in various professional and government organizations devoted to the promotion of the education and professional development of musicians in Canada and abroad.

The arrangement of this accession reflects Prof. Schabas' long association with the Royal Conservatory of Music and is divided into two Sous Fonds:

A later accession (B2008-0031, now described as Series 10 within Sous-fonds 2) is an accrual to the Ezra Schabas fonds. It consists of an alphabetical file series that documents most facets of Prof. Ezra Schabas’ career. While there are a few early records, most files document his activities after his retirement from the University of Toronto Faculty of Music, including: involvement in associations and music groups, publishing and research endeavours including his book Sir Ernest MacMillan: The Importance of Being Canadian; evaluation reports of music programs throughout Canada; performances and public appearances; travels; workshops and talks. The files contain a variety of documents including correspondence, minutes, agenda, papers, talks, reviews, evaluation reports, scripts, grant applications and memorabilia. 1953-2007 (predominant 1985-2002)

Fonds consists of programs from his performances, a letter confirming his appointment to the Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) in Toronto, a newspaper clipping, and his annotated copy of the Canadian Music Centre sheet music for Six Miniatures after Hokusai for violin and piano by Elliot Weisgarber (1972). The fonds also includes two catalogues for his personal music library: one current to 1976, and another current to 1997.

B1989-0005: Correspondence, programmes, invitations and newsletters relating to the Alpha Omega Fraternity and the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.

This fonds contains Etienne Gilson's correspondence, articles, lectures and pocket diaries for the period 1927-1978. It also contains biographical material, copies of articles in journals, articles by others about Gillson, some reviews of his published works, memorabilia, and the notebooks of Abbe Andre Gilson, younger brother of Etienne. In addition there are photographs and audio cassettes.

Consists of 'T' crests and a photograph of the Women's Intercollegiate Basketball Team, University of Toronto, 1947-1948.

Correspondence, notices, programmes, articles, press clippings and photographs documenting the activities of Ethelbert Lincoln Hill [BA 1888] as an undergraduate in Arts at University College, and Robert Russell Bensley [BA 1889, MB 1892]. With Hill, the emphasis is on his athletic achievements, his involvement in student elections, and with the conversazione, and his attendance at the Ontario Normal School in 1901-02. Included are offprints of articles (1896, 1897) by and a memoir of Bensley; a lithograph of University College, n.d.; photographs of graduating class in Arts (1887) and of University College Natural Science Association general committee (1886-1887); map of City of Toronto, 188-.

The fond consists of photocopies of records that document her military career, and photographs pertaining to the life, education and military career of Ethel Blanche Ridley.

The fonds consists of records pertaining to Granger’s activities as a writer and to her personal life. It includes drafts and notes of fictionalized stories about the lives of girls and women in early French Canada, travel diaries of trips mostly to Europe and various regions in Canada (1926-1981), several short stories, personal files, work files, photographs documenting her personal life, and an item produced in 1990 which incorporates extracts from a much earlier diary.

Fonds consists of the administrative records of Esprit Orchestra, from its foundation in 1983 as Esprit Contemporain, to 2021.

• B2012-0010: Personal correspondence (1961-2009); Board of Governors minutes, memos, and notes from Professor Sirluck’s position as President of the University of Manitoba; and the MRAP (Management Review and Analysis Program) task force reports for the University of Toronto Library system, 1976; and two booklets.

This fonds contains records related to the professional activities and personal life of Dr. Ernest Mastromatteo, occupational physician. The bulk of the material in this fonds documents his roles as a medical practitioner, researcher, and occupational health director. The series documenting the activities of the Nickel Producers’ Environmental Research Association, an association Dr. Mastromatteo was heavily involved in during the 1980s, is the largest, with smaller series documenting his career at Inco, his work with the American Conference of Governmental and Industrial Hygienists, and his many projects, case studies, organizations, associations and societies, as well as legal cases he provided testimony in. There is also a relatively large amount of material documenting his research in the form of addresses, and additional material chronicling his time as a student at both the University of Toronto Faculty of Medicine and the School of Hygiene.

Records include correspondence, notebooks, publications, drafts, prints, reports, meeting minutes and memoranda.

The collection consists of originals and copies of correspondence, proposals for productions, investors' agreements, contracts between the producers and the theatres as well as between the producers and actors; scripts, financial statements (including expenses, revenues, pre-production and production budgets, balance sheets); investors' kits, publicity, production and casting notes, programmes, flyers, newspaper and magazine reviews, resumes and photographs of actors, directors, choreographers and technical crews; videocassettes of some of the productions and a few properties.
The collection also contains the papers (contracts, proposals, financial statements, correspondence, notes, scripts, reviews of past productions, publicity and productions notes) of unrealized project possibilities.

Papers of E.G. Moogk, BASc (1928) and assistant in the Office of the Superintendent of Grounds relating to his activities in the U. of T. contingent of the Canadian Officers Training Corp. 1936-1940. Includes correspondence, minutes, instructional materials, test results, notes. There are photographs of COTC, University of Toronto contingent, drills and exercises at Niagara Camp, and a photo album of an exhibition in the gymnasium of Hart House consisting of images depicting aspects of the horrors created by Nazism and World War II.
