Fonds consists of plans of buildings and properties pertaining to the University of Toronto, including original drawings by Thomas Young of proposed University College buildings described as the Centre Building, East Wing and West Wing (ca 1842-1857); original drawings by Cumberland and Storm of University College (ca 1856-1857); original drawings by David B. Dick, Architect of Moss Hall (ca. 1887), Biological Building (ca 1887) Museum (1889), Students Union Gymnasium (1892), restoration of University College and New Library Building (ca 1890-1892), Chemical Laboratory (1893-1894), Old Wycliffe College Building (n.d.), and other working drawings. Many drawings annotated with date 1922 by J.C. B. Horwood.

Ontario Music Teachers' Association collection
Collection consists of records from early conventions of the Ontario Music Teachers' Association (OMTA), primarily from the first convention, held at the Royal York Hotel in Toronto (October 6-8, 1936). Papers include programs (1936-1944); correspondence; meeting minutes; lists of registrants; scripts for speeches, including an address by Sir Ernest MacMillan at the first convention; drafts of the OMTA constitution; and proceedings (1936, 1937).

Bascom H. Darwin Collection of Photographs
The collection consists of approximately 492 photographs, approximately 170 negatives and 115 index cards. The photographs in this depict life in the Royal Military College, training exercises such as building a Flying Bridge and other construction and training work in Canada and England as well as some personal photographs of Mr. Darwin and his family and friends. All of the photographs in this collecton were taken between 1930 and 1945.
Box 1-5 contain black and white photographs mounted on index cards, some with negatives attached. Box 6 contains 115 alphabetical subject index cards, 54 loose photo duplicates and 129 loose negatives.

Hart House String Quartet collection
Collection consists of 10 scrapbooks created by the Hart House String Quartet and their business manager, Milton Blackstone, which contain programs and newspaper clippings of reviews and press releases for their concerts. Two volumes (Volume 5, 1929-1931; and, Volume 7, 1932-1934) are missing from the collection. The collection also contains two scrapbooks for the Canadian Concert Association, during the time that Milton Blackstone was the director (1933-1935 and 1936), and a small collection of annotated scores and parts for violin and piano, previously owned and annotated by Geza De Kresz.

Collection consists of a handwritten book of lyrics for songs written by the American composer Roy Lamont Smith, and a collection of his published and unpublished (manuscript) sheet music.

Includes copies of letters, telegrams, and postcards sent home, newspaper clippings, Christmas and Mother's Day cards issued by the Army, hand-drawn maps, photographs of the soldiers in Smith's division and the areas in which they were stationed, French and German currency, printed maps annotated by Smith, and German-language leaflets dropped by American forces to instruct enemy soldiers on the process of surrendering.
