File consists of a notebook containing information about candidates for the position of Inspector of Schools under the Ministry of Education, as well as a typed document about candidates that was found in the notebook.

Sub-series consists of Patrick O'Neill's correspondence with constituents, supporters, and government ministers for the period from 1935 to 1936 in his role as MP for the Mourne division of County Down as well as notes, official documents and newspaper articles regarding the affairs of his constituency.

The Partition of Ireland

File consists of a booklet by Tom O'Donnell, B.L. entitled 'The Partition of Ireland.' File also includes a poster entitled 'Boundary Election,' a letter from [Thos] O'Donnell, and a letter to O'Donnell from Patrick O'Neill.

Teresa V. O'Neill sous-fonds

Sous-fonds consists of records related to O'Neill's role as literary executrix of her father's estate. Sous-fonds includes a draft of her thesis, correspondence regarding the thesis, correspondence with researchers regarding her father's political papers, and newspaper articles and genealogical information related to the O'Neill family, as well as university diplomas.

Executrix correspondence

File consists of correspondence with Professor M. Roberts (Department of Modern History, The Queen's University of Belfast) and with the Public Record Office of Northern Ireland regarding the transfer of Patrick O'Neill's political papers to the Public Record Office, as well as correspondence with Eamon Phoenix concerning his research for a doctoral thesis at The Queen's University of Belfast about the nationalist movement in Northern Ireland.

In some cases, the events are unknown, and the speaker was the most distinguishable characteristic for that cassette. The sub-series is arranged alphabetically by speaker. Some speakers include Gordon Cosby, Mary Cosby, Jean Vanier, Therese Vanier. There are many more speakers.

Audio Reels, Film Reels and Documentaries

Series consists of 78 audio reels, 8 film reels and 1 videocassette made during events given by l'Arche International. These reels are arranged chronologically whenever possible. The reels mostly feature Jean Vanier at various events, although other speakers are included. The events at which these were created are unknown, which is the reason these materials have been kept separate from the other series in this Collection.

Sound Recordings series

Series consists of eleven audio cassettes of lectures and retreats given by Nouwen from 1985 to 1994. Specifically, there are two audio cassettes from a ALT Brugge Retreat on the topics of Prayer and Reconciliation. There are two audio cassettes which contain a Mass given by Nouwen on Compassion. There is one audio cassette titled "La Visitation" and another titled "Francais – Homelie – Houietie". There are also five audio cassettes of Nouwen leading a seminar on the Gospel of St. John while he was at L'Arche Trosly-Breuil.

The article is a discussion of a new form of Christian spirituality, and talks about Nouwen and his spirituality. There are two copies of the article. One is a newspaper clipping, and the other is a print-out on computer paper that has been photocopied.

Henri Nouwen

Item consists of an article about Henri Nouwen (in the section of the magazine titled "Faces of Faith). Boers describes his meeting with Nouwen, and describes his visit at L'Arche Daybreak. Boers interviews Nouwen and asks him about his experience in Latin America and attempt to find a vocation there, his 1984 speaking tour [An Interrupted Journey], his decision to join L'Arche, and Nouwen's role at L'Arche and his feelings about the community.
