Norman Jamieson Endicott

This accession of contains 3 files from Norman Jamieson Endicott, which were transferred originally to the University College Archives before coming to the University of Toronto Archives.
The files contain colloquium committee notes (1957-1958), Library Committee correspondence re. Bentley and Esplin (1966) from George Gray Falle of Trinity College, and the list of University College students excused for fall harvest in Saskatchewan in 1942.

Woodhouse 2006 accession

Notebooks compiled by A.S.P. Woodhouse, primarily for teaching in English literaure at University College, University of Toronto. The emphasis is on 18th century literature (especially Romanticism) and the History of nineteenth century thought, in the undergraduate pass and honours program (largely the latter). Accompanying them is a selection of heavily annotated books by and about 19th century writers.

Papers of A.S.P. Woodhouse used for the posthumous publication of his book, "The Heavenly Muse: A Preface to Milton", with an introduction and annotations by Hugh MacCallum. Consist of lecture notebooks, addresses, drafts and printed copies of articles, and the MSS for "The Heavenly Muse".

Includes C.P.'s correspondence with his mother and Doris during the Second World War and Dorothy and her husband Harcourt Brown; correspondence regarding Doris' estate; and a file of CP's writings. Also includes a stamp album compiled when C.P. was a student at University of Toronto Schools; information on Charles E. Stacey's resignation from the Masons (1896), the sale of his property after his death (1927) and Pearl's investments. Concludes with correspondence with Helen Stacey and Jennifer S. H.
