The collection also consists of material related to zoo displays and architecture, catalogues and books related to zoo and animal collecting, photographs off various zoo related animals found in different parts of America and a board game. The fonds covers the years of 1998, 2006-2014, while predominantly covering the years of 2007-2014. The fonds documents the work and activities of David C. Onley during his tenancy as the 28th Lieutenant Governor of Ontario from September 5, 2007 to September 23, 2014.

The fonds contains six series:

General files are comprised of reference and research files. Articles and clippings contains newspaper articles, publications and interviews that mention David C. Onley, as well as articles of interest collected for him. Correspondence includes outgoing, incoming, and internal office correspondence. Daily records comprise the bulk of the fonds and contain calendars and detailed textual and photographic documentation of Onley’s activities as Lieutenant Governor. The series also contains electronic records which are copies of the textual and photographic material within the daily calendars and daily activities files. Guest books contain bound books with signatures of visitors to the Lieutenant Governor’s events. Awards and regalia contains material and objects bestowed upon David C. Onley such as certificates and university regalia from convocation ceremonies and honorary degrees.

First artifact is a booklet titled "University of Toronto Scarborough College" ; shows original diagrams and photos of Scarborough College; outlines college's educational philosophy, design philosophy, site features, use of the site and project order; complete booklet in B&W; middle portion of booklet has been torn from binding; no date or markings on booklet. Photographic Prints

Series C: Photographic Prints contains all of photograph prints that were housed in paper folders and filing cabinets in the office of Ken Jones. The folders were arranged by subject. For the most part, folders are labelled by subject but the folders and some photographs were out of order when the records were transferred to UTSC Library. In some cases, folders contain photos that do not reflect the subject of the original folder label.

The UTSC Photographic Services fonds covers the years of approximately 1964 and 1966 to 2008. The collection represents an invaluable visual history of the University of Toronto Scarborough campus and is made up almost entirely of photographic materials – negatives, contact sheets, slides, and prints.

Photographs in the collection from the 1970s to 1994 are attributed to David Harford and photographs from 1994 onward are attributed to Ken Jones. Photographs cover a broad range of subjects, such as the buildings and grounds of UTSC, campus events, faculty, staff, students, and much more.

Personal records of George Zarb, Professor Emeritus of and former head of Prosthodontics in the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Toronto, who introduced dental implantology to North America and who is recognized internationally for his contributions to his field. The records include personal and professional correspondence; files on many of the numerous honours bestowed on him; administrative files; teaching files, course material and lecture notes with accompanying slides, along with slide presentations from student projects and theses; files of correspondence and related material pertaining to professional activities, including selected conferences and editorial work; and drafts of chapters of books, articles, and addresses, with accompanying photographs and slides, and some born-digital material.

Woodhouse 2006 accession

Notebooks compiled by A.S.P. Woodhouse, primarily for teaching in English literaure at University College, University of Toronto. The emphasis is on 18th century literature (especially Romanticism) and the History of nineteenth century thought, in the undergraduate pass and honours program (largely the latter). Accompanying them is a selection of heavily annotated books by and about 19th century writers.

This series contains items ranging from University College class reunions to the University of Toronto Overseas Training Company’s “Record of Service” book that Malcolm Wallace compiled while second-in-command of the Company during World War I. There are also files on retirements (William John Alexander), College fees and scholarships, articles about Toronto and U of T history, and Wallace’s copies of publications about King’s College, the University of Toronto Act, the Victoria Club’s curling manual.

Manuscripts and publications

The manuscripts and publications in this series form a small representation of Principal Wallace’s literary output, but they do provide a sense of the breadth of his interests and the activities to which he devoted himself after his retirement in 1944.
